Sheboygan Diamonds honored at annual banquet

The Sheboygan Athletic Club honored those Sheboygan Diamonds baseball players who were judged by their coaches to be the most dedicated players on their respective teams.

Receiving the awards were (pictured from left), Sheboygan Diamonds U11 Garrett Schultz, Sheboygan Diamonds U13 Taylor Olafson, Sheboygan Diamonds U13 Dylan Lindow and Sheboygan Diamonds U-8 Tanner Sauer.

Award winners who are not pictured were Sheboygan Diamonds U10 Trey Klessig, Lakeshore 7th Hunter Creech and Lakeshore 8th Evan Mahn.

The awards were presented at the Sheboygan Athletic Club Awards Dinner on January 7 at Breaking Bread in Sheboygan.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
