Mac’s Maul A’s 10-0

The Mensha MACs, champions of the Northeastern Wisconsin League for the past two years because they beat the Sheboygan A’s in the Championship playoffs both years, beat the A’s again Monday night. This time by a 10-run mercy rule 10-0 score at Menasha’s Koslo Park.

Sheboygan: 0 runs, 2 hits, 5 errors
Adam Grambow hit a 2-run home run in the first inning and the MACs never looked back. Tony Lamer and Jason Wierschke dominated the A’s. In fact Lamers had a no-hitter going for 5 2/3 Innings.
“We were mauled, no doubt about that,” A’s GM Denny Moyer said. “We talked things over after the game and I think we’re on the same page now. We all have some work to do.”
The A’s are hoping to bounce back tonight when they host West Bend. Tonight is Bourbon
Street Pub’s Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Night featuring B-Street’s gumbo and Tim’s Famous Jambalaya. It is also Elks Lodge #299 night. Game time at Wildwood Park is 7:30 p.m.
The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
