Get to Know Your Sheboygan A’s: Weston Nelson

This season will be Nelson’s first with the A’s, the
Sheboygan native will look to contribute anyway he can.
Where are you from? –
Sheboygan, WI
What school do you
attend? – UW-Stevens Point
What do you enjoy
most about baseball? – Hanging out with my teammates and playing ball in
the summer.
What are your
individual goals for this season? – I want to improve every day.
What are your
expectations for the team this year? – I want to grow relationships with my
teammates and coaches.
Who is your favorite
baseball team and why? – Milwaukee Brewers, because they are in Wisconsin
and as I was growing up I always watched them on TV.
The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
