Northern Illinois Forfeit’s WSL Consolation Game

The Northern Illinois Legends have forfeited today’s Wisconsin State League Consolation Championship game, meaning the A’s are your 2015 WSL Consolation Champions.

The A’s advanced to the championship game after beating West Bend 7 Up 12-2 on Saturday night. Northern Illinois defeated the Kenosha Kings 9-7.

The A’s next game will be Tuesday at home against the Manitowoc Banidts in the regular season home finale. It will be Fan Appreciation Night as well as A1’s Birthday Party. The A’s will then hit the road to Green Bay and Appleton Wednesday and Thursday before beginning play in the Northeastern Wisconsin League playoffs. That schedule will be announced later in the week.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
