Friday’s Suspended Game Will Resume Tuesday at 7PM in Sheboygan

Posted: June 12, 2016

On Friday evening, the Sheboygan A’s were in Manitowoc to take on the Bandits. With the A’s leading 10-0 in the top of the third inning, storms rolled into the area, causing the game to be suspended.

That game will resume where it left off on Tuesday in Sheboygan. The Bandits and A’s were already scheduled to play that night.

The resumed game will start at 7PM in the top of the third inning with the A’s batting. There is one out and two runners on base. The A’s will be the visitors even though the game is in Sheboygan.

Both teams have agreed to change the game from the origional nine innings, to seven innings to accomodate the weeknight doubleheader. The second game will also be seven innings instead of nine.

Fans with tickets to the origionally scheduled game will be able to use the same ticket to view the first game. Gates will open at approximately 6PM.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels). All Sheboygan A's home games are played at Wildwood Baseball Park in Sheboygan. Connect with the A's on FacebookTwitterInstagram and YouTube.
