A’s Win Streak at Seven with Weekend Sweep of Addison

Posted: July 25, 2016

If this grueling streak of games has worn them down, you’d never know it by their performance.

With a four game sweep over the Addison Braves, the A’s win streak has been pushed to seven straight.

Tonight they take on the Menasha Macs in a 7:30 PM game that is a battle for a bye in the first round of the Northeastern Wisconsin League playoffs.

Despite a rain played Saturday night and Sunday morning, the A’s took four games for Addison by scores of 8-4, 14-8, 9-2 and 13-3. The sweep ended the weekend that began Friday night with an 11-1 win over Manitowoc.

The A’s play home games Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week for ending the regular season at Appleton on Saturday afternoon.
