United Way Day of Caring Campaign Kickoff to be Held at Wildwood on September 8

On Thursday, September 8, hundreds of corporate volunteers, campaign coordinators, nonprofit leaders and United Way board members will descent upon the Sheboygan A’s Ballpark to help kick off the 2016 United Way Campaign and then head out into the community to tackle service projects throughout the county.

Schedule

7:30 a.m. Breakfast and Entertainment

8 a.m. Campaign Kickoff

8:30 a.m. Group Photo with all wearing Day of Caring t-shirts

8:45 a.m. Connect with Site Leaders and travel to project sites

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteer projects. Lunch will be provided at your project site. Please do not go off-site for lunch. The organization you are working with that day is generously providing the lunch for your team.

4 – 10 p.m. Celebrate the day at Taste Sheboygan.

Register for the Campaign Kickoff Breakfast. 

If you have already registered as a volunteer for Day of Caring, you do not need to register separately for the breakfast. Your breakfast is included with your volunteer registration.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
