A’s Getting Set for CITGO Opening Day with Pat McCurdy and Miss Wisconsin

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s are getting set to begin their 55th season when they host Marinette for CITGO Opening Day on Saturday, May 27. First pitch for the Saturday doubleheader will be at 2 PM.
Part of the opening day festivities includes a special pregame concert by musician-songwriter Pat McCurdy. McCurdy will be performing in a tent in the parking lot beginning at noon.
Tickets to see McCurdy and the A’s doubleheader (general admission seating) are $5. A select number of tickets are available for free courtesy of CITGO. Those tickets can be picked up at the following CITGO locations:

Miss Wisconsin Courtney Pelot will also be on hand. She will be throwing out the first pitch and interacting with fans during the game.
The first 50 people into the McCurdy show will get a free $5 CITGO gift card, and the first 100 people into the stadium will receive a free CITGO/Sheboygan A’s rally towel. CITGO will also be tossing out other prizes into the crowd throughout the game.
Game two of the doubleheader will begin approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will be seven innings.
A’s veteran right-hander Eric Schmitz, who won the team’s 2016 Most Valuable Pitcher award, is tentatively scheduled to start game one. Schmitz went 7-1 last season with a 2.23 ERA in 10 starts.
Season tickets can be picked up at the A’s ticket office on Saturday. Season tickets begin at just $30 for general admission. The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
