Manitowoc, WI – The Sheboygan A’s easily took Thursday’s game against Manitowoc in 7 innings, winning by a final score of 20-0. With the victory, the A’s move to 4-0 on the season, and 3-0 in the Northeastern Wisconsin League.

The first inning got things started for the A’s and gave them all the insurance they would need. Harry Steldt (UW-Stevens Point alum) hit a two-run home run which sparked an A’s scoring frenzy. Before the end of the inning, the team would tack on 12 more runs en route to an early 14-0 lead.

The A’s added another two-run home run as well as a pair of doubles and a few singles to the stats sheet, while Manitowoc was unable to get their bats going

Taylor Schwarz (UNC Greensboro alum) started the game for the A’s, throwing five shutout innings. Aiden Wojciehowski (Loras College) pitched the sixth inning and Derek Loomans (Lakeland University alum) closed out the game to complete the shutout.

The A’s are next set to face Appleton in Appleton on Friday night, and Menasha on Monday in Menasha. The A’s return home Tuesday night for the annual Sponsors Night game. First pitch is 7:30 PM.
