A’s Split Four-Game Weekend with Addison after Sunday Split

ADDISON, IL- The A’s offense woke erupted for 21 runs on Sunday, however, the team still only managed a Father’s Day split with the Addison Braves.

The A’s had a chance early in game one but the Braves ultimately took the lead in the third inning and kept it for a 10-5 victory. The A’s did not let this loss stop them however and ended up pulling out a 16-9 win in game two.

Braves players Thomas Kahle and Ryan Kocher did the most damage against the A’s, each driving in three runs in the game one victory.

Chris Saltzman was the bright side offensively for the A’s in game one, batting 3-for-4 with two RBI’s.

In game two, both teams got their bats going early, with the Braves scoring four in the first and the A’s scoring six in the second. After the high scoring second inning, the A’s were able to maintain the lead and capture the “W”.

Saltzman and Josh Moses lead the way for the A’s offensively with three hits apiece.

The Braves defense was also a factor in the A’s victory, as the team made four errors throughout the game.

The A’s are back home Tuesday, as they are set to take on West Allis. First pitch is set for 7:30 PM.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
