Posted: October 5, 2017

The Wisconsin State Baseball League announced that A’s pitcher Taylor Schwarz was named to the 2017 All-WSL First Team as determined by a vote of League general managers.

The All-League right-handed pitcher finished the 2017campaign with a sparkling 1.09 ERA, going 4-0 while accumulating 32 innings pitched. Schwarz never allowed more than two earned runs in any appearance.

Of his four wins, three came against the top three teams in the WSL outside of the A’s. He earned victories over Kenosha, De Pere, Addison, and Lombard. His win against Lombard game the Orioles one of their four losses on the season, as they cruised to their 14th straight WSL championship.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
