The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League today announced its major award winners and all-league teams.

Making the all-league first team from the Sheboygan A’s were infielders Mitch Sutton (UW-La Crosse), Harry Steldt (UW-Stevens Point alum) and outfielder Josh Moses (UW-Platteville).

Sutton, who was an honorable mention for all-league last season, makes his first appearance on the NEWBL First Team. Sutton finished the season with 43 hits in 43 games played, collecting five doubles and one triple, good for a .336 average. He holds a .333 career average in an A’s uniform.

Steldt, who last week was named to the Wisconsin State League First Team, makes his second straight appearance on the All-NEWBL First Team. Steldt is climbing up the ranks in many A’s historical offensive categories. For his career, he holds a .330 batting average, with 224 RBI, 18 home runs, and 79 doubles.

Moses, who like Steldt was an All-WSL First Team honoree last week, makes the All-NEWBL First Team in his first season. Moses, who carried a plus .400 batting average for most of the season, started battling injuries in the last part of July. He still finished with a .386 average, and finishing tied for the team lead with seven home runs.
