A’s Release 2018 Schedule

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s, members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League have released their schedule for the 2018 season.

The schedule includes three non-league games, 48 league games, somewhere between three and five games in the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic tournament, plus games in the WSL and NEWBL post-season tournaments, which could bring the final tally to around 65 games this season.

The A’s will play a minimum of 32 games at Wildwood Baseball Park, beginning at the end of May until the middle of August.

The 2018 campaign gets going on Saturday, May 26 when the A’s host the Marinette Redbirds in a NEWBL double-header. Also taking place on opening day will be the A’s 4th Annual 5K Home Run/Walk, as well as a pre-game concert by regional musician Pat McCurdy. The season-opening doubleheader starts at 2 PM.

New this season, the A’s will plays a few other local teams in what General Manager Denny Moyer is calling, the "Regional Round Robin Ruckus". Included in the RRRR will be the Plymouth Flames, Cleveland Wildcats, and Manitowoc Bandits. It gets started on Wednesday, May 30 when Cleveland plays Manitowoc, followed by Sheboygan and Plymouth. On June 6, Manitowoc will face Plymouth followed by Sheboygan and Cleveland, and on June 13, Plymouth and Cleveland will square off followed by Sheboygan and Manitowoc. All games will take place at Wildwood Park, with the first game of the evening starting at 6:30 PM, and will be seven-inning contests.

The 2018 Promotional Schedule is still in the works and will be released later this spring.

All Monday – Friday A’s home games have a 7:30 PM start time, with the exception of the RRRR games, where the A’s start time will be closer to 8:15 PM those nights.

Season tickets are on sale now. Tickets range from $40 – $105. The A’s are also selling ticket 10-Packs, where you can use the tickets in any quantity to any game. 10-packs range from $30 – $70.

Group nights are now being reserved. Groups looking to book a pre-game tailgate, or rent the skybox should contact the club.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
