West Allis, WI – The A’s offense suffered a power outage Saturday evening in West Allis.

The Nationals pitching staff limited the A’s to just six hits through two games en route to a doubleheader sweep of the A’s. The Nationals took game one 10-0, and game two 1-0 in extra innings.

In game two, the A’s offense was limited to a single hit by TD Walker. John VanderPloeg and Ben Folger did all they could on the mound to give the A’s a chance, getting a scoreless game into the second extra inning frame before the Nationals’ Rock Cates hit a walk-off home run.

The A’s weekend continues today in Kenosha with a doubleheader against the Kings.
