Posted: July 15, 2018

Sheboygan, WI – With a 3-2 victory over the Burlington Barons, the Sheboygan A’s won Pool D and have advanced to the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic semi-finals on Sunday.

Although the A’s lost earlier in the day to Pewaukee, 5-1, the A’s defeated Burlington 3-2 at home. Both Sheboygan and Burlington finished at 2-1 in Pool D play.

With a little help from Everest, who defeated Pewaukee Saturday afternoon, the A’s won the tie-breaker with Burlington to advance.

Other pool winners include a pair of familiar names: the Kenosha Kings of the Wisconsin State League, and the Appleton Legends of the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.

Appleton and Kenosha will faceoff in one semi-final game on Sunday. The A’s opponent will be the Chicago Rippers.

The A’s and Rippers will play at 10 AM Sunday in West Bend at Regner Park.

Should the A’s win, they would play the Appleton/Kenosha winner at 2PM.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
