Brogni’s Late Game Heroics Win It For A’s

Sheboygan, WI – Bryce Brogni drove in the tying and winning runs with a walk-off double in the bottom of the final seventh to give the Sheboygan A’s a 3-2 win over the De Pere Dodgers at Wildwood Park. It was the A’s second straight come from behind victory.

Brogni also drove in the A’s first run with a fifth-inning hit after Kyle Peterson’s singled and moved up on Ryan Norton’s sacrifice bunt. 

De Pere scored twice in the sixth to take a 2-1 lead and set up Brogni’s heroics.

Adam Eck gave the A’s a good start again, going 5 2/3 and giving up just five hits and striking out nine. Ben Folger got the win in relief.

The A’s will take on Kenosha in the Hall of Fame Day doubleheader Saturday. Tom Forsterling will be inducted into the A’s Hall of Fame between games. First pitch is 1:30 p.m.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
