A’s Announce 2019 Schedule

Posted: February 27, 2019

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s, members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League have released their 2019 season schedule.

The regular season schedule includes 42 league games, eight non-league games and between three and five games in the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic. The A’s end the year competing in the Wisconsin State League/Wisconsin Class A State Tournament and NEWBL Postseason Tournament.

The team will play at least 30 games at Wildwood Park, beginning with the 2019 season opener on Saturday, May 25 in a non-league contest with the Kewaskum A’s. The home opener will be preceded by the 5th Annual Sheboygan A’s 5K Home Run/Walk.

The A’s will face each team in the Wisconsin State League five times for a 30-game WSL schedule. Joining the A’s in the WSL are the Addison Braves, De Pere Dodgers, Kenosha Kings, Lombard Orioles, West Allis Nationals, and league new comer, the Burlington Barons. The Oshkosh Giants announced they are taking a leave-of-absence during 2019.

Over in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League, the league schedule will be significantly lighter than in recent years, as the Marinette Redbirds opted out of the league, leaving it with just four teams: the Appleton Legends, Green Bay Storm, Menasha Macs, and Sheboygan. Each team will play each other four times during the season.

To fill some more dates on the schedule, the A’s added non-league games against the Kewaskum A’s, whom they will play four times (two home, two away), two home games against the Chicago Clout, one home game against the Manitowoc Bandits, and a road non-league game against WSL newcomer Burlington.

The 2019 Promotional Schedule is still in the works and will be released later this spring.

All Monday – Friday A’s home games will again have a 7:30 PM for the A’s.

Group night reservations are now being accepted for the A’s tailgate pavilion, as well as the Advanced Comfort Systems Skybox. The A’s also hope to have the new Bud Light Party Deck built in time for the season which will be available for group outings.
