Schedule Set for 2019 WABC Tournament

The 2019 Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic Tournament scheduled has been released.

The A’s have been placed in Pool C. Joining them will be the Brookfield Bulldogs, Hartford Hawks, and Milwaukee Aztec Jaguars.

The A’s begin pool play Friday at home against the Jaguars at 7:30 PM.

They will then head to West Bend on Saturday to take on Brookfield at NOON, then turn around and come home for a 7:30 PM game with Hartford to round out pool play.

Should the A’s win their pool, they would advance to the tournament semi-finals Sunday in West Bend. The championship would also take place Sunday in West Bend.

The A’s are the defending tournament champions, having won the title last year defeating fellow WSL and NEWBL rivals Kenosha and Appleton in the semi-finals and finals respectively.

The tournament features 16 teams from around the State representing several different leagues. The Burlington Barons also of the Wisconsin State League are in Pool B along with the Appleton Legends of the NEWBL, both league’s the A’s are affiliated with.

The Sheboygan A’s are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A’s have helped develop more than 41 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
