Sheboygan A's Baseball

Statement Regarding the 2020 Season

Posted: April 9, 2020

The Sheboygan A’s, members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League, are continuously monitoring the public health developments regarding COVID-19.

At this time, the A’s are preparing for the 2020 season, presented by Meijer, as if it will start on time. However, we also recognize with the current Safer at Home order, that the situation remains fluid.

The A’s are in communication with the WSL and NEWBL, as well as its member clubs, and representatives from other clubs across the State discussing alternative plans should the season not be allowed to start on time.

In addition, the A’s have decided to postpone the 2020 Sheboygan A’s 5K Run/Walk, scheduled for May 30. The club is looking at dates this Fall to host the event.

At this time, the A’s would also like to thank all of our communities’ medical personnel, and those still serving our community – helping to keep us safe.

The A’s have many business partners throughout the community who rely on your support, and we ask you to continue to support them during these trying times.

Stay tuned to the A’s website, and social media profiles as we keep you updated on the evolving situation. Stay safe, and we can’t wait to see you back at Wildwood Park soon.
