The Kenosha Kings employed last inning heroics to win game one Sunday, but the Sheboygan A’ s were in control all the way in game two to record their second doubleheader split in as many days.

On Sunday in Kenosha, the A’s lost game one of the doubleheader 2-1. Kenosha broke a 1-1 tie in the final seventh inning and got a walk-0ff win when Terry Leonard doubled in Zach Paczocha who led off the inning with a base hit.

Jackson Pothast started for the A’s and turned in a strong performance, leaving after five with the game tied at 1-1. Terry Leonard's double handed the A’s their fourth 1-run loss of the young season. Jimmy Juergensen drove in the A’s only run with a third inning single.

The A’s led game two one all the way and finished with a 6-1 victory.

The A’s racked up 11 hits in the game. Ross Krist had two hits and Jake Falish knocked in two runs. Noah Imrie, Austin Reimann and Bryce Lovisa combined to hold Kenosha to four hits.

The A's are back home all week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
