GREEN BAY – It was a white knuckler here at Joannes Park Tuesday night, but the Sheboygan A’s escaped with a 7-6 win over the Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons.

The win marked the sixth straight for the A’s who are now 12-8 overall and 8-4 in the league.

The A’s take a short break from Wisconsin State League action with a game tonight at Wildwood Park against Menasha and then they travel to Kewaskum for a doubleheader and hit the road again on Saturday for two State League games at Burlington.

Josh Moses’ two-run homerun was the big hit in the A’s taking a 4-0 lead. Greater Green Bay battled back and the game was soon tied at five.

That was until Jimmy Juergensen’s 2-run hit gave the A’s a 7-5 lead in the ninth. Green Bay made things interesting in their half of the ninth, scoring a run and placing the tying run on third before Austin Reimann got the game-saving strikeout.

The 2020 Sheboygan A’s season is presetned by Meijer.
