helping team to back-to-back third-place finishes at the NJCAA Division
II World Series ... appeared in 45 games as a sophomore, ranking second
on the team with a .349 batting average ... 44 hits, 27 runs scored and
24 runs batted in ... posted a .426 on-base percentage ... played in 31
games and made 28 starts as a freshman … finished with a .247 batting
average with 19 hits in 77 at-bats ... recorded eight RBI, scored 12
runs and went 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts ... two-time academic

Three-year letterwinner in baseball and four-year letterwinner in
wrestling at Wausau West High School… named Wisconsin Valley
All-Conference twice in baseball, was a WIAA D1 State Tournament
qualifier in wrestling and was selected team captain for both his
wrestling and baseball teams his senior season.
